Millie utilizes an eclectic style in her practice and draws on many different therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, play, integrative, solution focused, internal family systems, psychodynamic, and strategic interventions.  However, Millie is a family systems therapist at heart, and she always attempts to see the landscape of one’s life, “the bigger picture.”  She believes that significant relationships, current life stressors, and past trauma play significant roles in a person’s unique experience; she often involves parents, siblings, and partners in her treatment as a direct and effective way to build and repair relationships, as well as transform patterns at their source.

In 2014, Millie lived in Ibiza, Spain and earned her in-depth 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate. She learned how to integrate yoga, meditation, and somatic experiencing as a healing methodology.  The embodiment of everyday stress, anxiety, depression and trauma can be debilitating.  Learning different ways for self care can improve sleep, emotional regulation, focus, and overall wellness.

In her free time, Millie enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.

Everyday Wellness and Counseling is not offering groups at this time but stay tuned for future endeavors
